Alexandre Carvalho教授现任巴西圣保罗大学教授,2012年当选为巴西科学院院士。长期活跃在无穷维动力系统国际学术前沿,与合作者撰写的专著“Attractors for infinite-dimensional non-autonomous dynamical systems”,Springer-Verlag(2013),已成为无穷维动力系统领域知名教材。发表学术论文120余篇,多篇论文发表在《Transactions of the American Mathematical Society》、《Communicationsin Partial Differential Equations》、《Indiana University Mathematics Journal》、《Siam Journal of Mathematical Analysis》、《Journal of Differential Equations》、《ErgodicTheory & Dynamical Systems》、《Nonlinearity》等领域内重要期刊。现任《Journal of DifferentialEquations》、《Journal of Dynamics and Differential Equations》、《Applied Mathematics & Optimization》等多个国际学术刊物的编委。
活动内容摘要:
Unravelling (in some examples) the structure of non-autonomous attractors is one of the main challenges to the evolution of the understanding on non-autonomous dynamics. Some special global bounded solutions of non-autonomous evolution problems play the role of equilibria of autonomous problems. They are the global hyperbolic solutions. Being able to identify these solutions (for some particular models) would take us one step closer to a better understanding of non-autonomous dynamics. In this lecture we identify the global solutions that will play the role of equilibria (in a particular parabolic problem) and conjecture that they are hyperbolic, which would pave the way for proving robustness of the attractor structure.
